The individual must work in an engineering team environment to provide complete engineering packages required to manufacture and assemble automated tool & die equipment. EDUCATION: * Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university, an emphasis on Machine Design preferred. * Associate's degree with relevant experience will be considered. EXPERIENCE: * 5-10 years previous experience in automated machinery. * Knowledge of good modeling/drafting practices and GD&T tolerancing required. * Minimum 5 years automation, motion control, and complex machine design required. * Machine design proficiency in automated equipment and tool/die industry required. * Tool & Die design experience is beneficial. * Experience in PLC-based electro-mechanical designs is beneficial. SOFTWARE/SKILLS: * 2D Autocad and 3D Solidworks solid modeling proficiency required. * Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word * Ability to exhibit ownership, demonstrate follow through and be held accountable for project completion, cost, and success. * Demonstrate exceptional problem solving and decision-making skills. * Must possess strong communication skills, efficient work habits and be self-motivated to succeed in an environment where engineering costs and schedules must be minimized for the company to be successful.
