We are looking to add a Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Assistant Plant Manager to our team!

Summary: Ensure manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently, assesses project and resource requirements, and supervises the work of direct reports Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accountable for production operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Maintains standards of health and safety, hygiene, housekeeping and security in the work environment. Understands hazardous materials and the proper and safe handling of such ensuring all proper policies and procedures are followed. Planning and organizing production schedules Estimates, negotiates and agrees to budgets and timescales with vendors and management Determines quality control standards by collaborating with quality department and other managers Organizes the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment Monitors staff performance and progress. Makes sound decisions using facts and data that are in the best interest of MBG Holds all individuals, including him/herself, accountable for delivering results and satisfying internal and external customers. Continuously improves production operations using lean enterprise practices. Explores options for internal and external activities having impacts on the department and/or business. Shows initiative, courage, integrity and bases decisions on what is best for the company, not the individual. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications: Supervisory skills and experience. Ability to read and interpret business documents and data. Knowledge of general business computer software and aptitude to learn new software applications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or seven years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
