Abby is a writer who is passionate about the power of story. Whether it’s communicating complicated topics in a clear way or helping readers connect with another person or place from the comfort of their couch, Abby believes stories are some of the most powerful ways to create empathy and understanding.
Before writing for Zippia, she worked in communications and marketing for two different nonprofits. She’s written dozens of press releases, blog posts, feature stories, social media posts, and web pages for those companies, and for Zippia alone, Abby has authored over 136 articles that have garnered over 285,000 views.
Abby is experienced in creating content to be integrated across social media, web pages, blogs, and emails. She loves figuring out how to tweak that content for each individual platform so that it reaches its target audience in the most effective way possible.
In addition to her writing, editing, and proofreading experience, Abby also has experience in photography, video editing, and digital marketing campaign creation.
Abby attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she earned a degree in writing with concentrations in journalism and business.
For fun, Abby enjoys traveling and writing about the people and places she experiences, hanging out with her husband and Goldendoodle, and, of course, reading all kinds of books.
